The structure is a spacer knit — mostly air by volume — so it breathes rather than trapping heat against the scalp.

The American Academy of Pediatrics safe-sleep guidance is explicit: infants sleep alone, on the back, on a firm flat surface, with no pillows, bumpers, wedges or soft bedding. Products marketed to reshape an infant's head are not supported by that guidance. Most positional flattening resolves with repositioning and tummy time, and persistent cases are a paediatrician's call. We sell this as a supervised awake-time rest and nothing more.
